Part one - the list of stuff it's OK to do to Beyond - can be found here.
Part two of permissions - an explanation of Beyond's abilities and your decision of what's OK for Beyond to (somewhat indirectly) do - follows below.
Beyond was born with what's known in Death Note canon as shinigami eyes. This power was initially stripped from him, but as of Beyond's pairing with Cassel and Cassel's subsequent request, the Admiral has restored this ability to Beyond at full power.
A bit of explanation: In the Death Note universe, humans who acquire a Death Note and become attached to a shinigami, or death god, have the option of trading that shinigami the temporary use of their eyesight, which grants the ability to see a person's true name (a critical piece of information needed for effectively using the notebook) and fated day of death.
Here is an example of what someone with shinigami eyesight sees when looking at a live human:

Typically, the price given to the shinigami in exchange for this skill is half of the user's remaining life span. Beyond, on the other hand, was born with this ability at no additional upfront cost, and without the element of choice - which sounds pretty cool in theory, except imagine since basically birth being surrounded by extremely visible reminders that everyone you've ever known and loved or even remotely liked will die. Not only that, but imagine knowing, inexplicably, when this will happen. For every. single. person. you've ever met. Imagine seeing this, over and over and over again, and probably not fully understanding entirely why or how you know these things. And imagine not only being unable to ever shut this ability off, but also imagine not being able to do a damn thing about it.
Great knowledge and an even greater sense of powerlessness. No wonder Beyond ended up so off-kilter, then. :|
Let's backtrack to the mechanics of how the shinigami eyes actually work. In order to see a name and life span, Beyond will need to see more than half of a person's face, usually the top half. Conversely, if more than half of the person’s face is covered, such as with a mask or large sunglasses, Beyond will NOT be able to see that person’s name and life span. Also keep in mind this only works on live humans, and only on the real thing or cinematic/photographic replicas. Paintings or sketches, no matter how lifelike, do not yield any results.
A note on how this applies in-game: I typically leave it up to players to decide whether their characters count as human and/or alive - that is, if you wonder whether Barge deaths count or just canon deaths, I leave that decision up to you. Do mutants count as "humans"? Again, your choice - it's YOUR character! Etc.
Now! Here's where you come in. If you'd like Beyond to have some sort of in-person or video encounter with your character/s, he will most likely end up seeing something, unless your character is dead, or not a human.

MY CHARACTER IS BOTH ALIVE AND HUMAN
well anyway this one is uncomplicated
Character journal:
What should Beyond see for a lifespan? NO IDEA, DUDE. His lifespan is somewhere between 21 and, like, 80 years (lbr, probably not that long, but who knows). There will definitely be something there, though.

Character journal:
What should Beyond see for a lifespan? Rohan's universe will reboot itself in March of 2012, so he's got ~12 more years before he goes poof.
At least he kept up with his deadlines even when each day was only 5 minutes long.(no subject)

What should Beyond see for a lifespan? Expected to live up until at least WWII, but beyond that no real knowledge 8| So that's 25+ years?
SPOILERS UP IN HERE
Character journal:
What should Beyond see for a lifespan? Spoiler-texting this business because I know there are people still watching the
ten year oldseries but: Beyond can see his actual date of death, which is February 24th, 2008, or a little less than 2 years in the future.(no subject)

What should Beyond see for a lifespan? Well, it's complicated?
Technically she's human and alive. But also a banshee? She's in between both categories, really. She's a live human with supernatural abilities.
Her lifespan, well. She thinks everyone she knows will die in a few months. But they'll manage to survive?

Character journal:
What should Beyond see for a lifespan? Faust offically died sometime in the summer of 2000, at the age of 33. Which from his canon point is maybe 3 or 4 months from where he came from.
Im not sure if this is important, but his canon says he reaks of death to those senstive to such things. So, there is that.

What should Beyond see for a lifespan? I.... have no idea, but Steve's already 97 and will probably not die of actual old age given his profession so... IDK something like 100-110? Will update if necessary! o/
Also clearly they need to interact at all at some point!!!(no subject)

Character journal:
What should Beyond see for a lifespan? This is...hard. If the show were going by the novel it would be when he was 29, which will be in 1897, but that's still a guess on my part, because the show doesn't even say how old Victor is now, that's another guess based on the fact that novel Victor built the creature at 21, and then I figure he needed at least a year to rebuild that lab and then find a new specimen. Annnnnnnd the show does not follow the novel at all. Like the last season ended with the Creature going to the arctic and Victor in a passed out drug stupor, so theoretically he could die next season in 1892, or he could last as long as the series does. I honestly have no idea :( Is it possible to do something like have him be able to see it, but Victor doesn't want to be told (he probably wouldn't), so it never gets said or written in game?

What should Beyond see for a lifespan? This is where things get fun and/or complicated! Shiro is technically "dead" but can't really die, so instead of one number Beyond likely sees a rotation of several different numbers that occasionally reset themselves. If you watch it for long enough, it starts to look like a countdown clock, though the numbers never cycle perfectly.
timeline and world shenanigans make some things complicated...
Character journal:
What should Beyond see for a lifespan? Kevin is dead in his canon and considers himself permadead in his home world. However, he moved to another, similar world when he left the Barge previously. If Beyond would only see his natural life span, he died at 19 (and is now 21). If he'd see Kevin's prospective life span now, I'd imagine it'd probably be an average modern American life span. I suppose, he could theoretically see both, if you think his power would work that way.

What should Beyond see for a lifespan? WELL, Jean's first death was near the end of December in 1979. Second was sometime in 1980. After that, she could potentially live forever. Maybe an eternity sign?
MY CHARACTER IS EITHER DEAD, NOT HUMAN, OR BOTH

Also for the purposes of this, I am willing to say he is human enough that the powers work, but he also died before coming to the barge, so your call.

Alien, lost his real name, time traveller who struggles even to remember how old he is (and I am NOT TOUCHING all that new series stuff about Trenzalore, no thank you). If Beyond wants to see garbled, headache-inducing gobbledegook instead of nothing, there's a good pretext.

What should Beyond see for a lifespan? Not long. Comics being what they are it can be a little hard to track the passage of time. I figure not more than 3 years is fair. And it might change, because comics, but for where Scott is now, that should work.
